FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT & CAR BOOT SALE

SATURDAY 24TH MARCH 2007

We have an exciting Double Event coming up! Wallington County Grammar School will be hosting a Car Boot Sale & Football Tournament.

The Boot Sale will be open from 7am until 11am. We have room for at least 50 cars, so tell your friends and come along. We are charging £8 per car (gates open from 7am) and £1 for pedestrians (gate open from 8am) There will be a second-hand school uniform stall so please have a look and send in any old uniform you have. We will also be running a second- hand clothes/shoes/bags stall. Any unwanted items of this nature that you could send into the school marked FAO PTFA Car Boot would be most welcome. There will be bacon rolls, teas/coffees available all morning.

So remember:  Don’t e-bay it - Wallington Boot it!

The Football Tournament will begin at 9am. Please encourage your son to participate in this event, it is great fun and good to see all the year groups mixing together and cheering each other on. The boys have already started organizing their teams with some very original team names! They pay £1 each to enter.

A barbecue will be sizzling all day and we will have wine/beers and soft drinks available; there will also be a cake stall so any donations would be very much appreciated.

It would be lovely to see parents/grandparents supporting their children/grandchildren and joining in the fun, as this does help to make the day so much more enjoyable and a creates a nicer atmosphere. Please note that there will not be any car parking facilities within the school on this day so we would be grateful if you could make other arrangements.

We will also be drawing the Easter Raffle at the end of the Football Tournament and tickets will be available throughout the day.

All the money raised from these two events will go towards the Sports Hall Appeal.
