Old Boys' Day
Friday, 6th July 2007
The School wishes to maintain contact with its former pupils. We are always prepared to make visitors welcome and many take the opportunity to call if they live at a distance and visit old friends in the area. Old Boys, being a gregarious lot, generally like to meet with their school friends and more are likely to visit the school on a day set aside for the occasion.
Old Boys Day is usually the first Friday in July. The Old Walcountians v First XI cricket match will commence at 11.30 a.m.
The Old Walcountians' 1930s Dining Club will hold its dinner that evening at 7.00 for 7.30 p.m. in the School Hall. Old Boys may join us to watch the cricket or, in the late afternoon or early evening, to look around the school and to meet up with old friends. For some this is their first visit since leaving school; for all it constitutes a pleasant and nostalgic evening.

The Honorary Secretary of Old Walcountians' 1930s Dining Club, Dr. Nigel Warren, invites any Old Boy, of any age, who wishes to join us on that evening to contact him in good time at 29, Send Barns Lane, Send, Woking, Surrey GU23 7BS (tel. 01483 222053). The club also holds a dinner at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon in November.
The Old Walcountians' Association is an open sports club with a good bar. Old Boys are always welcome and may join as social members for a nominal subscription. The Clubhouse is in Carshalton Road, Woodmansterne, Banstead (tel. 01737 354348).
